The Kerry Biosphere was delighted to host author and company director, Féidhlim Harty on a webinar focussing on nature based solutions for water managment. Our webinar was held on the morning of Thursday 21st November. The webinar provided fascinating insights into the alternative, eco-friendly methods for wastewater and stormwater management.
The webinar began with a brief introduction from Biosphere Officer, Brendan Kirwan. Brendan was thrilled to pass over to Féidhlim who delivered an engaging and informative presentation awash with imagery, charts, and diagrams. The large audience were clearly intrigued by the webinar, as evidenced by the postive feedback at the end of the presentation. The webinar is the first public engagement initiative as part of our Rainwater Planter Initiative. The Initiative will be further supported through in-person workshops in early 2025. We will advertise and promote the in-person workshops on this website, our social media channels, and through local news providers.
