The Kerry Biosphere Officer, Brendan Kirwan, delivered an ‘Introduction to the Kerry Biosphere Reserve’ on the evening of Monday 18th November. The aim of the webinar was to provide participants with information on the designation, the scale and location of the reserve, and the ethos / function of the Biosphere.

Although well attended, there were also absentees from the webinar. Owing to increased interest in the event, we have decided to deliver a second webinar to allow those who missed the first offering to join us the second time around. The webinar will be recorded and made available on the Kerry Biosphere YouTube channel.

If you have an interest in Kerry’s natural and / or cultural heritage, and would like to learn about the origins and function of the Kerry Biosphere Reserve, then join us on the evening of Tuesday, December 10th at 19:00. The webinar will be hosted by the Biosphere Officer, Brendan Kirwan, and will run for approximately one hour.
